Description
This is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, wide three-bay house located at 24 Sinclair Street in Thurso. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with contrasting tooled long and short dressings. The main southeast front features a central door that is covered by a shallow square flat-roofed porch with a round-headed entrance. Above the ground floor, there is a flush band course. The northwest facade is symmetrical with three bays, including a blocked central door facing Sinclair Street, and has one ground floor window and two first floor windows, one of which is blind. The house has 12-pane glazing, renewed end stacks, and a piended platform slate roof.
