Description

Late 19th century, pair mirrored dwellings; 2 storeys, each

house of 3 bays. Stugged coursed rubble, polished ashlar

dressings, with some contrasting red sandstone detailing;

rubble flanks. Each house with gabled and advanced outer bay

with canted bay window in ground floor rising into slightly

smaller, also canted window with segmental headed lights;

entrance in centre bay, flanked by bipartite and linked to

doorway by moulded string/lintel course. Paired 1st floor

windows break wallhead into bargeboarded dormers; 2-pane

glazing; gable bargeboards, corniced end and ridge stacks;

cast-iron decorative finials and cresting slate roofs.

SW walled service court with decorative cast-iron cresting

slapped as garage entrance.
