Description

Early 19th century, 2-storey and attic, symmetrical 3-bay

house. Tooled ashlar frontage with polished ashlar dressings

(all much repaired with render), harled flanks and large

harled modern 2-storey addition to rear. Barely recessed

centre bay with corniced centre door flanked by

channelled ashlar detailing; tripartites in 1st floor outer

bays with blind side lights and cill bands; outer bays

defined by long and short quoins 1st floor window in SW

gable and diminutive centre attic window in each gable;

2 late 19th century piended dormers with bipartites; 2- and

4-pane glazing. Some bracketed detailing to eaves cornice

survives; renewed end stacks; slate roof to frontage;

composite tiles to rear.

High coped rubble garden walls, fronting Janet Street

and Brabster Street.
