10 Busby Road, Glasgow

10 Busby Road in Glasgow is a building that likely dates from the late 18th century, though it may be older. The structure is a two-storey block that was renovated around 1980, converting it into two houses. During the renovation, two blind windows were opened up and fitted with plate-glass sashes. The façade features three narrower bays for each house, with the doorways positioned to the left of center. The house on the left, No 10, has a modern door, while the house on the right, No 8, has only two bays with windows.

The building is constructed from rubble with droved ashlar dressings, all of which are uniformly painted. It has rebuilt end stacks and a small central stack located below the apex of the slate roof.

The rear elevation also consists of six bays and originally featured a forestair at the second and fifth bays. The fifth bay has since been demolished, converting its door into a window. The surviving forestair is curved and includes a platt that oversails the basement area, complete with iron handrails.
