Description

Built probably 1770's/1780's. 2 storeys, variation on

symmetrical nepus-gabled design with further door and

window bays (No 8) at left (ie to S). Rubble-built with

droved ashlar dressings, plain flush margins, prominent

scrolled skewputts; all painted. Re-glazed, but mostly

small-paned sashes. Skewed S gable. Pair close-spaced

1st floor windows below nepus gable and originally 2

doors at ground (one now a window), single

symmetrically-arranged window bay either side.

Swept-roofed and slated dormer over No 8 rebuilt to

original profile circa 1980 (similar dormer at rear).

Rendered apex stacks; roofed with small slates.

Rear elevation 5 bays, forestair to inner door.
