Description

This is a two-storey house located at 1 Greenside Road in Glasgow, dated 1825. It was renovated around 1985, during which it was re-glazed with thick-astragaled lying panes. The house features blind windows on either side of the central door, which were also opened out during the renovation.

The window arrangement is unusual, with five bays on the ground floor and three bays on the first floor. There is a central wall-head gable with an apex stack. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with droved ashlar dressings and raised margins. It has end stacks and a slate roof, along with a rear forestair.
