Description
2 Kirk Road in Carmunnock, Glasgow, is a house likely built in the mid to late 18th century, though it has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries, with the most recent changes occurring in 1974. The building is now a two-storey structure. It is constructed of rubble with mainly diagonally-drove ashlar dressings. The ground floor has been altered and features two windows between two doors, along with one blocked window. On the first floor, there are two widely spaced windows on both long walls, and a crest dated 1974 is set centrally. The doors are modern, and the windows are reglazed with small-paned sashes. The roof has straight skews with moulded skewputts, end stacks, and a pair of rooflights facing the roadside, all covered by a slate roof.
