Description

26 Kirk Road is a single-storey cottage dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is set back behind No 24 Kirk Road and follows an irregular street line. The cottage features three wide bays with an inner door, and a fourth bay on the right that contains the main door, which was likely added in 1988. The exterior is constructed of coursed squared stonework, primarily diagonally droved, with flush margins, and it is all whitewashed. The cottage has ridge stacks and a slate roof.
