Description

Said to be circa 1690 but not all one build; appearance

of diagonally-droved masonry at ground floor indicates

date in 2nd half of 18th century though perhaps on

pre-existing footings; heightened a storey - in ashlar -

perhaps in early 19th century and now (1988) a long

2-storey house, part of a row; whitewashed; 3 wide

bays at 1st floor, central window (above modern central

porch), with raised gable head, originally a doorway,

evidence of forestair on main wall. Corniced end stacks;

slate roof.
