Description
34 Kirk Road is a 2-storey end terrace house built in the last quarter of the 18th century. It features three narrow, unequal bays and is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, some of which have diagonal droving. The west gable has large scrolled skewputts, while both the front and the harled rear elevations are whitewashed. The house has an off-centre doorway with a modern door, and there is a potentially blocked second door to the right. Above the doorway, there is a small square window on the first floor. Each level has a window in the left bay, and the first-floor window on the right has been enlarged. The glazing is mainly composed of sash windows. The roof is steep-pitched and covered with slate, featuring straight skews and a corniced end stack on the west side.
