Description
3 Pathhead Road in Carmunnock, Glasgow, is a pair of cottages dating from the mid to late 18th century. They are single-storey buildings with a shared roofline and feature two central doors across three bays. The front is constructed with diagonally-droved ashlar and has a boulder base. The skews are adorned with simple moulded skewputts, and there are end stacks. The roof is slate, although it was presumably originally thatched.
The cottage on the left, known as the Weaver's Cottage, has been altered and consists of three asymmetrical bays. The window on the right side of this cottage was formerly a doorway, and it features a modern wall-head dormer. The cottage on the right, referred to as Broom Cottage, has a wider right bay.
