Description

Built in second half of 17th/early 18th century. 2-storey and

dormerless attic 3-bay house. Whitewashed rough-rendered

rubble with ashlar dressings with chamfered and contrasting

painted margins. Architraved doorway at E behind circa 1900

off-centre brick porch. SE corner rebuilt in 19th century.

Sash windows, mostly with small-paned glazing: single blocked

1st floor window to W, attic window in E gable end. Moulded

eaves cornice; skews and shaped skewputts over N gable;

rebuilt end stacks; roofed with small, uniform slates; stone

ridging. Lean-to abutting N gable added probably 1st half of

19th century.

Cobbled track approaches from E through tree-lined avenue.
