Description
The Old Manse in Wamphray is a former manse, possibly built around 1849, likely at the same time as the nearby church. This two-storey building features three bays and has a low rear wing. It is constructed from rubble with ashlar margins, all of which are painted.
On the west elevation, there is a deeply-recessed central panelled door with a fanlight, situated beneath a plain consoled hood. The building has sash windows with 12-pane glazing. The roof has straight skews, corniced end stacks, and is covered with slate. Additionally, there is a detached outbuilding to the east.
