Description
374-378 Gallowgate in Glasgow is a building likely constructed in the last quarter of the 18th century, although a datestone from 1771 appears to be modern. The building has three storeys, with a public house located on the ground floor and four bays above. It features a central stack that is raised on a gabled wall-head plinth. The exterior is made of harled brick and includes small-paned sash windows, two dormers, and moulded skewputts that may date from the 19th century. There are end stacks and a slate roof. A door on the side facing Claythorn Street is a modern addition. The building underwent renovations around 1983.
