Drumbeck Lodge, 38 First Gardens, Glasgow

Drumbeck Lodge, located at 38 First Gardens in Glasgow, was likely built in 1882. This single-storey, three-bay lodge features a rectangular plan and gabled roof, showcasing Tudor architectural details. It sits on a corner site and has a later piend-roofed extension at the rear, creating an L-shaped layout. The exterior is harled with ashlar dressings and quoins.

On the west elevation, there is a gabled porch at the center with a pointed arch canopy and trellised timber sides. Each flanking bay has a pointed arch window, while the north and south ends have blank gables. The east elevation includes the piend-roofed addition on the left.

The lodge has horizontal-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows, and it is covered with grey slates. The gables feature kneelered skews and coped stacks at the apex, with an additional stack on the rear extension.

The boundary walls consist of harled brick to the east and south, with a painted timber picket fence to the west.
