Description
Denburn Cottage, located on Swan Avenue in Kennoway Village, dates from the 17th or 18th century and early 19th century. This single-storey, six-bay cottage is constructed from two sections and features a harled exterior.
On the northeast (principal) elevation, there is a door with flanking windows positioned in the bays to the left of the center. The windows in the earlier, lower section of the cottage to the right are slightly lower, with a window in each bay; the central window has likely been converted from a door. The cottage has modern top-opening timber windows with plate glass glazing. It is roofed with clay pantiles and has harled and brick stacks with cans and thackstanes, along with ashlar-coped skews.
