Description
Forbes House is a circa 1800, two-story, three-bay house situated on the west side of The Causeway in Kennoway. The construction is of squared rubble, with rusticated quoins and raised margins, and features an eaves lintel course.
The west elevation presents a symmetrical facade. A modern door is centrally positioned at ground level, flanked by windows, with regular window placement on the first floor. The ground floor window is fitted with modern plate glass and a top-opening mechanism, while the first-floor windows are pivot windows. The roof is tiled, with coped ashlar and harl stacks topped with cans.
The property includes rubble boundary walls.
