Description
The gate piers at East Gate, Crawford Priory, date from the late 19th century and were moved to their current location around 1900. There are six square gate piers, with two inner pairs connected by a low, stugged ashlar wall to single outer piers. The piers are made of ashlar and feature alternating diamond-pointed and pulvinated banding, along with a cornice and flat pyramidal caps.
