Description
This is an early 19th-century dovecot located within the grounds of Crawford Priory. It is rectangular in plan and gabled. The dovecot was constructed using rubble masonry with ashlar dressings. The south gable features distinctive stugged ashlar, with V-channeling at the lower level and rusticated quoins above. This gable contains five tiers of pointed-headed flight holes. A door is flanked by windows on the west wall, and a rectangular panel above this contains three tiers of similar flight holes. The building has skews, finialed gables, and a slate roof.
