Description

Built 1861. Simple rectangular-plan church. East gable is stugged and snecked ashlar (remainder rubble-built); cusped-headed central door flanked by round-headed windows, 3 similar windows at gallery level: clock above and corbelled birdcage bellcote with small obelisk. 3 tall, round-headed windows to north and south elevations. Windows mostly with

simple Y-tracery.

INTERIOR: gallery on east wall with panelled front, now converted to vestry. Painted wooden pulpit has panelled front: pilasters support sounding board. Windows flanking pulpit by Ballantine and Gardiner, 1903. 2 later unsigned windows; that to north wall after 1913, that to south after 1907. Churchyard enclosed by rubble-built walls with ashlar gatepiers.
