Description
Mid 19th century. Asymmetrical L-plan single storey and attic picturesque lodge, with modern extension to south. Droved ashlar, with polished dressings. North elevation: 3 bays, right bay advanced and gabled with corniced, mullioned and transomed window below rectangular attic light (east gable similarly treated); remaining bays behind swept- roofed, Tuscan-columned porch; door with rectangular fanlight in inner bay, bipartite to left. Lattice glazing throughout; finialed gables, with coped crow-steps, shaped skewputts; diamond axial stacks and slate roof. 3 corniced square ashlar gatepiers; curved, low, stugged ashlar walls, with ashlar coping, link with terminal piers. Decorative wrought-iron gates.
