Description
Pathcondie is an earlier 19th-century farmhouse that stands two stories tall. It features a symmetrical three-bay south elevation, with the central bay being bowed and a two-story wing extending to the north, creating a T-plan layout. The building is constructed from coursed, squared windstone, accented with contrasting yellow ashlar long and short dressings. The entrance is located in the western re-entrant angle and includes a flat-roofed porch with a door that has a decorative fanlight. The central bow on the south elevation is a notable feature, and there is a cill band on the first floor that drops below the central window. The windows have 18 and 15-pane glazing. The farmhouse has deep eaves, a piended slate roof, and symmetrically placed octagonal stacks in groups of three. There is also an additional lower rear wing.
