Craigtoun Lodge, Craigtoun Park

Craigtoun Lodge, located in Craigtoun Park, is an early 19th-century building. It is a low, two-storey structure made of droved ashlar stone, featuring a polished belt at the first floor. The north end of the building is canted and has latticed two-light casement windows on each face. There is a single-storey outshot on the east side with a stepped frontage that also includes similar casements, which have been reglazed, along with a door. The west elevation has three bays, with the canted bay slightly advanced and featuring a door and a window above it, while the outer bays are blank on the first floor. The building has low-pitched, overhanging slated roofs with bracketed eaves, mostly piended, and includes diagonal shafted stacks along with a rebuilt rendered central stack.
