Description

This cottage at Mount Melville Home Farm dates from the earlier 19th century and features later canted bay windows. It is a single-storey structure built from whin rubble with ashlar dressings. The cottage has a central door flanked by two four-light timber canted bays that have mullioned and transomed front faces. The roof is piended, overhanging, and slated, supported by bracketed eaves, and there are end stacks with two diagonal shafts. An addition has been made to the rear of the building.
