Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay classical house. Rendered and lined as ashlar with painted stone margins, quoin strips, base course, eaves course, cavetto cornice and blocking course.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Wide Ionic columned cavetto doorcase with fluted frieze and cornice, centre panelled door. Windows in flanking bays; regular windows at 1st floor, centre blinded.

S ELEVATION: 3 windows to ground and 1st floor.

E ELEVATION: ground floor with centre door and windows in flanking bays, blinded window to right; 3 windows to 1st floor, blinded to left; 2 small attic windows in gablehead, that to left blinded.

W ELEVATION: window to left of centre at ground, smaller centre window at 1st floor, 2 small attic windows in gablehead.

12- and 6-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with full complement of polygonal cans, lead-covered ashlar coped skews, cast-iron downpipes and decorative rainwater hoppers.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: ashlar coped random rubble boundary walls and ashlar gatepiers with pyramidal finials.
