Description
Late 16th century and later. High rubble walls enclosing church and graveyard. Derelict rubble lean-to building in SW corner.
Mural tablets include (E wall) Renaissance monument to Captain Andrew Watson and his wife Isobel Watson and John Watson and his wife Euphamie Orrock, with family crest and dated 1689. (S wall of church) Classical monument with heavy hoodmould to John Young and family.
Gravestones predominantly simple moulded apex style with inscriptions, including commemoration to John Orrock, shipmaster depicting a sailing boat and George Arnot a local character who died in 1850, headstone erected by public subscription depicting George with wheelbarrow.
