Description
24 Kirkgate in Burntisland is a house built between the early and mid-19th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure with a rectangular plan and a piend roof, located on a corner site. The exterior is finished in painted cement render with painted margins.
On the east elevation, the bays are shifted to the right. There is a part-glazed timber door positioned off-centre to the right, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays, and two windows located on the first floor.
The north elevation features a link wall to No 33 Somerville Square at the outer right, with a window on the first floor also positioned to the outer right beneath a swept roof.
The windows are timber sash and case with a glazing pattern of four and twelve panes. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the building has ashlar coped skews and a brick stack.
