Description

4 Bank Street in Wigtown is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that is part of a terraced group on sloping ground. The building is constructed of rendered rubble with painted ashlar dressings. The original door has been relocated from the center to the outer right and features a deep fanlight, although it now has a modern door. There are three windows on each floor in the main bays, including a blocked former doorway. The windows are sash and case with a plate glass glazing pattern. The house has modern tiles and skylights, broad stacks, and a small flat-roofed projection at the rear.
