Description
15 South Main Street in Wigtown is an early 19th century, two-storey, two-bay house located in a terraced street. The building is constructed of painted rubble with ashlar dressings. It features paired modern doors on the left side and a bipartite window inserted on the right. The first-floor windows on the left have been enlarged, while the window on the right remains. The first floor retains plate glass sash and case windows. The roof is covered with modern pantiles, and there are mutual gable stacks. The property also has cast-iron rainwater goods and includes a two-storey and a single-storey wing at the rear.
