Description
10 Bank Street in Wigtown is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that includes a cellar and a rear wing. The building features rubble walling with painted red sandstone margins and rusticated quoins on the right side. To the left, there is a recessed panelled door topped with a fanlight, which is accessed by steps. All the windows are single-light sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. There are two cellar openings facing the street. The house has a blocking course at the eaves and a graded slate roof, with a rooflight and sandstone skews on the right side, as well as coped axial stacks with octagonal cans.
