190 High Street, Burntisland

190 High Street in Burntisland is an 18th-century, two-storey, L-plan house that features a large later flat-roofed single-storey extension to the south on a corner site, with the ground sloping down to the south. The exterior is rendered with stone margins, a part base course, and a band course.

On the north elevation facing High Street, the gable end has a centrally located window at ground level, which has been altered and blocked. There are windows to the left and right at the first floor, with a return wall at the centre that includes a door to the right. To the left, there is a recessed wall with a part-glazed door to the right and a window above.

The east elevation features a door on the outer left, with the extension beyond. The windows include 8- and 12-pane glazing patterns in sash and case and fixed styles. The roof is covered with modern pantiles, and there are ashlar coped skews and beak skewputts, along with coped and harled stacks that have some cans and thackstanes.
