Description
10 Bridge Street in East Linton is an early 19th-century building consisting of two terraced, two-storey houses, each now divided into two separate units. The structure is made of squared and coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings, while the sides and rear are constructed from rubble.
The front features four doors, each with a strip fanlight above and flanked by two windows on the right, except for the door to No 10B, which is part of a shopfront with a gate. Each bay on the first floor has windows, and there are irregular openings in the south gable wall. Access to the rear is available through gates in the adjoining ashlar-coped retaining wall.
The windows are sash and case style, predominantly featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with red pantiles and has a slate easing course, straight skews, and ashlar-coped end and ridge stacks.
