Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and attic cottage,

with single storey wing, and later addition at rear.

Harled, ashlar dressings with chamfered reveals.

Principal elevation of 3 bays with doorway at centre

under gabled, timber-columned porch with kingpost;

fanlight; lean stone mullioned bipartites flanking;

gabled timber mullioned bipartites dormers to outer bays

with timber brackets, kingposts and finials. Slightly

recessed, lower wing to left, with bipartite window.

Horizontal-pane glazing pattern to sash and case

windows. Overhanging eaves to main block and dormers

with timber brackets. Purple slates. Moulded cornice to

end stacks, with ashlar dressings and harling;

decorative cans retained.
