Belleview, 23 Dalrymple Loan, Musselburgh

Belleview is a single-storey detached house located at 23 Dalrymple Loan in Musselburgh, built around 1900. It features a square plan and has a piended slate roof with a central brattished platform, broad eaves, and exposed rafter ends. The exterior is constructed from squared sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings.

The central entrance door is situated beneath a roof that sweeps down and is supported on brackets, creating a canopy. To the left of the entrance, there is a 4-light canted bay window with a semi-prismatic roof and an iron finial that extends above the eaves. On the right side, a dormer-headed 3-light window is set under a half-timbered gablet. The windows are designed with moulded stone mullions and transoms. The side elevations feature gablets with brattished ridges and corniced chimney stacks.
