Description

New Bridge in Musselburgh was built between 1806 and 1807 by Sir John Rennie and was widened in 1924 by Blyth & Blyth. The bridge features five segmental arches made of ashlar stone, supported by channelled cut-waters and niched piers above. At pavement level, there is a cornice, and the solid parapet has an advanced base course and deep coping above.
