Description

The remains of the 16th century chapel of Our Lady of Loretto are located at Loretto School Mound on Linkfield Road in Musselburgh. The entrance to a subterranean cell features a scrolled Jacobean strap work pediment, which is adorned with a coronet and initials, and is dated 1649. Inside the cell, there are stone wine bins.
