Description

14 Linkfield Road in Musselburgh is a three-storey flatted terrace house block built around 1830, featuring a front garden area. The building is eight windows wide, with the western three bays slightly advanced and the eastern two bays slightly recessed, creating a flat-roofed link with No 15. It has a piended slate roof, ashlar stonework, and a string course at the first floor cills. The structure includes long and short quoins, a block cornice, and a blocking course above with raised angles. There are doors adjacent to No 15 and an external stair on the return. The windows have been reglazed with single-pane sashes, and there are two corniced chimney stacks. The garden walls were formerly topped by railings, with a higher section that includes a gate leading to a lower door.
