Description
11 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. It was formerly known as No 15 High Street, with the former shopfront at No 11 now incorporated into Nos 7-9 High Street. The building features rendered walling that is lined to resemble ashlar and is painted.
On the ground floor, there is a central door with an additional door to the right, which likely served the shop but is now part of the domestic space. This is flanked by windows, with No 11 having a plain panelled door and an integral fanlight. The first floor has single light sash and case windows with plate glass.
The building is topped with graded slate roofs, sandstone skews, and ridge, and has coped end stacks.
