Description
6 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet is a terraced house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is two stories high and has three bays. The harled walling features polished raised margins. The central doorway is recessed and includes a narrow fanlight above it. The windows are sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern, though the ground floor windows were widened in the later 19th century. The central window on the first floor has been blocked. The house has coped end stacks and slate roofs. To the right of No 6 is No 8 High Street, and there is a pend providing access to the rear of No 6.
