Description
21 South Street in Garlieston is a terraced house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is two stories high and has three bays. The exterior features harled painted walls with painted raised margins around the openings and a basecourse. The central doorway has a modern panelled door. All windows are single light, except for a bipartite window on the left side of the ground floor, which used to light a baker's shop. The windows are sash and case with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with slate and has a coped end stack on the left side, with the skews removed. There are also two small skylights and cast-iron rainwater goods. The rear of the building was not visible during the inspection in 1992.
