Description
17 South Crescent in Garlieston is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. It features painted rubble with raised angles and window margins, as well as base and eaves courses cornice. The irregular ground floor includes a margined door and fanlight on the extreme right, along with the main door that has a Doric columned doorpiece. To the left, there are two single light windows. On the first floor, there are three single light sash and case windows with two-pane glazing. The house has sandstone skews, skewputts, and ridge, coped end stacks with octagonal cans, thackstanes, and slate roofs. Additionally, it has cast-iron rainwater goods.
