Description
20 and 21 South Crescent in Garlieston is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house that originally included a shop on the ground floor to the right. The building features roughcast walling with raised painted margins and a basecourse. The central entrance to the house has a modern door, while the shop entrance to the right is flanked by two enlarged plate glass windows. The first floor has single light sash and case windows with two-pane glazing, and there is one casement window on the left. Above the ground floor to the right, there is a band course that was once a fascia. The roof is covered in slate and features sandstone skews, a ridge, and substantial coped stacks, along with two small skylights. The property also has cast-iron rainwater goods.
