Description
15 and 16 South Crescent in Garlieston is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. The building is constructed of painted rubble with raised, painted flat margins. On the ground floor, there is a central door, with a wider, inserted double-leaf panelled timber door to the left that was added for a former shop. The left outer bay features a plate glass shop window, while the right side has a single light 12-pane sash and case window. On the first floor, there are three single light sash and case windows, each with 12-pane glazing. The house has sandstone skews and ridge, block skewputts, coped end stacks, thackstanes, and slate roofs. Additionally, it features cast-iron rainwater goods and an eaves cornice.
