9 South Crescent, Garlieston

10 South Crescent in Garlieston is a pair of 2-storey, 2-bay terraced cottages built in 1764, with some later alterations. The cottages have paired central doors, although No 10 features a blocked door on the left side. Each outer bay has a single light window, all of which are sash and case with plate glass glazing; the ground left window of No 10 was enlarged in the 19th century. The cottages have a strong slate roof with a sandstone ridge and a hefty coped end stack, along with two small skylights. No 9 has a 2-storey rear extension and a lean-to addition, while No 10 was formerly a bakery and has a flat-roofed single-storey extension at the rear. The buildings feature cast-iron rainwater goods.
