The Harbour Inn, 19 South Crescent, 18, Garlieston

The Harbour Inn, located at 19 South Crescent in Garlieston, is a range of buildings dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Originally three separate houses, they have now been interconnected to form the inn. The buildings are all two stories high. Number 18 features a two-bay elevation facing the Crescent and a three-bay main return elevation, while Number 19 has a three-bay front.

The windows throughout are single light, sash and case, with two-pane sashes. The roofs are slate, supported by sandstone skews and ridges, and feature coped axial stacks. Cast-iron rainwater goods are present.

Number 18 has a painted rubble finish on the Crescent side and painted render on the three-bay elevation, both with painted raised margins. The two-bay elevation facing the Crescent has a door to the left and windows otherwise. The three-bay return elevation includes a central door leading to the grounds and one small skylight.

Number 19 is finished in painted render with painted raised margins, featuring a central door and two windows to the right, one to the left, and three on the first floor. It also has one skylight and one rooflight.
