Description
13 South Street in Garlieston is an early 19th-century, tall two-storey, three-bay end terraced house that is connected to a row built in the later 18th century. The building is harled and features raised margins around the windows. On the ground floor, there is a shop on the left side, with enlarged windows flanking the door. The first floor has three windows, all of which are plate glass sash and case. The house has a two-bay irregular elevation facing Cowgate, which includes a door with a fanlight and windows above in the gable wall. Additionally, there is a modern tripartite door to the left in the lower two-storey earlier bay that is adjoined at the rear.
