Description
Ashvale is a house dating from around 1800, featuring two storeys and three bays. It is connected to later terraced properties on the east and has the restored remains of a single-storey earlier building to the west. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar dressings.
On the northeast elevation, there is a central door with a strip fanlight, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays, with additional windows above on the first floor. The west gable elevation is joined at the ground level by the earlier building and has a first-floor window on the left. The sash and case windows have a four-pane glazing pattern, and the roof is finished with grey-green slates and features end stacks, with ashlar coped skews.
