Description
The Vicarage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of small ashlar blocks with white mortar joints on the front and rubble stone at the rear, topped with a stone tiled roof featuring coped gables and end wall stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range that includes a moulded cornice and a parapet. The first floor features paired 12-pane sash windows in architraves, along with a single 12-pane sash window in the centre. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, set in an architrave with a shallow hood supported by curved brackets.
At the rear, there is a two-storey canted bay made of ashlar on the left and a rear wing on the right, which has ridge and east end stacks. The first floor on the south side of the wing has twelve-pane sashes, and there is one three-light flush bead-moulded window on the east end wall. An addition with a hipped roof and a north side stack is located on the north side of the wing. Inside, the property features a plain staircase with column newels and a ramped handrail.
