Description

Nos 32 and 34 on High Street are a pair of shops built in the mid 19th century. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature a low-pitched slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, topped with a moulded cornice and a parapet. On the first floor, there are three sash windows set within architrave surrounds. The ground floor has a 20th-century concrete lintel over a passageway, leading to two 19th-century shop fronts. Each shop front is flanked by panelled stone piers and has brackets above that support the fascias and awning boxes. This building is included for its group value.
