Description
The gazebo located at the rear of No 36 (Parkside) is an early 18th-century structure made of roughcast rubble stone with ashlar dressings and features an ogee stone tiled roof. It has a square plan, comprising a basement and a main floor. The gazebo showcases an ashlar coved eaves cornice and flush quoins, with a stack positioned at the south-east corner. The south, east, and west faces are adorned with twelve-pane sash windows set in bolection moulded surrounds. The north front features a bolection-moulded doorcase with double doors, leading up a flight of eight stone steps that are flanked by a balustrade. The basement includes a chamfered doorcase on the west side with a hoodmould, and there is a two-light recessed cyma-mullion window located under the stairs on the north side. Inside, there is a bolection moulded stone fireplace.
